Several Fibervision members took a Beading class last friday with Deana Hartman- Judy Rys, Oleta Bennett, Mary Norton, Lora Martin, Adela Laband and myself. We learned techniques for applying beads of all types to quilts, using different configurations and stitches. This was my first experience with doing beading and I made this small quilt for a friend’s 65th birthday from a UFO in my stash. I really find the process relaxing. I don’t know how I will use beading in the future in my quilts but I am happy to have a new tool.

I was in that class with all of you and enjoyed it immensely. Your projects were absolutely wonderful and you all got so much done that day. I was in awe!
